iPhone Application Support

You can now scan the QR Code images shown next to each app using your iPhone and a supported scanner app (I recommend Quickmark 4) to view each app directly on the App Store on your phone, or you can simply click on the App Store logo below each app screenshot!

If you find any of my applications of use, please leave a review on the App Store! Any suggestions for improvements are also welcome. These can be sent directly to me using the email address at the bottom of this page.

Thank you!

Conversion application to convert Decimal numbers to Hexadecimal numbers.

Convert a decimal number from 0 to 4294967295 to a hexadecimal value from 0 to FFFFFFFF.

The application will currently allow you to convert to a 32 bit hexadecimal number.

The next version should allow 64 bit numbers.

Known Issues:-

Converting higher decimal values than specified above will give unreliable results, so you should stay within the specified range.

Decode hints that are typically used by Geocachers.

This application performs a character shift on the letters as they are entered, thereby decoding messages/hints.

The app can also be used to encode messages due to it's dual text window output.

Any text you enter will be shown both encoded, and decoded, allowing you to check what you have entered is correct.

Input is via the custom keyboard that is always present on the screen.

The app will allow you to copy the output message and paste it into other applications.

Deletion of letters works by either tapping the DEL button, or a gentle shake of the device. The shake option can be disabled in the Settings section of the device.

When deleting letters it is always the last letter that is removed, even if a selection is made with the standard select option that is available on OS 3.x.

Developers Best Friend is an application that will display your unique device identifier (40 alpha/numeric characters), and your device software version.

This application will allow you to email this information to another person so you can test other developers applications.

In-app email is used in the application so your device must be running OS 3.0 at least.

The applications is divided into four team areas with a + and - button for increasing or decreasing the value shown in the teams area.

Negative values are also allowed so points can be deducted to show scores less than Zero.

Each team has it's own colour (red, green, yellow or blue)

You can assign a name to each team, using the settings button on the toolbar. This name will be shown below the TEAM label.

Team names and scores are saved to the device, and automatically reloaded when the application is launched.

View the HTML &# code numbers for the ISO 8859-1 character set.

These &# values are sometimes used to display characters that cannot normally be typed on a standard keyboard. The list includes characters with accents (grave, acute, etc) and other characters in the ISO 8859-1 character set.

The list is searchable by simply entering in the character you are looking for, this then displays a new screen with a large version of the character and the Entity number, and description
